Abounding Prosperity, Inc. believes that preventative services are of utmost importance to prevent disease and improve health and the quality of life. Given this, the organization offers an array of program and services targeted to African American men who have sex with men (AAMSM), ages 18 and older. Below is a list of the current programs and services offered, please contact us for more information or how to enroll in one of the programs.

HIV Prevention Education & Outreach - AP Inc currently has a weekly discussion group for AAMSM. This group meets weekly discussing various topics such as: maintaining healthy relationships, HIV/STI education topics, financial literacy, and other engaging topics.

Substance Abuse - AP Inc hosts weekly Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings for men who are recovering from alcohol and substance addictions.

Temporary Housing - AP Inc currently operates a congregate housing residential property (The Prosperity House), located in the Southern sector of Dallas County that provides opportunities for transitional housing for MSM and others in need of housing.

HIV Counseling and Testing & Sexually Transmitted Infection Services - Since 2006, AP Inc has provided HIV counseling, testing, and referral services to all of its clients and partners in addition to syphilis testing.

Dallas Southern Pride - AP Inc assists with the coordination of Dallas Southern Pride, also known as Dallas’ Black Gay Pride, which convenes every year in October and is attended by over 20,000 AAMSM from Dallas, the state of Texas and beyond. During this celebratory weekend, AP Inc offers HIV CTR services, HIV/STI prevention education, health education and social opportunities as well for its participants.
